a child singing in English and playing the guitar :)

Mikolaj likes some songs of Helen Doron. especially the ones with the word "morning"
he tries to sing it, no, he sings it and plays the guitar :)

Reading fairy tales to a child

how to read a long fairy tale to a 2 year old?
not to read it, or not in full. point to pictures, ask questions, make sounds... reading the most important, tell a story in your own words

Teaching animal sounds and some other

while reading a book in English --- here goes my puffer train, we can teach different typically English sounds like animal sounds or machines' sounds or splish splash sound of the nature

Czytanie książki po angielsku może być sposobem na uczenie odgłosów natury

rajstopki stockings - using the word's melody

you can teach a child clothes names while putting some clothes on him...
you can also make use of some rhyming words or find the similarities -- it is easier to a child to remember
same way as it is easier to learn when we listen to words which are sung

Mikolaj nicely saying -- cho cho train

hmmm, I would advise, as a teaching mum, never to give up on your child. he most of the time doesnt want to speak, learn... mine says -- Cicho! Silence! when I speak a foreign language too often when he doesnt want to hear it. he is in a process of learning Polish after all. and it's the most important

but a child does learn , all the time, and he does repeat, and does remember words and recognises them even when we could think he has all forgotten
just keep on going, the routine, repetitions and consequence is the road to success :)

a child still doesnt want to learn

but learns therefore the word NO to perfection :)

sometimes a child just doesnt want to learn

teaching body parts after bathing

trying to sing in French

children sometimes get naughty when we teach... or rather they are naughty most of the time :)
